An honest note about what this guide is — and what it isn’t.
1. Informational purpose only
This Site is a personal guest companion for the apartment in Koukaki. It is not a travel agency, not a tour operator, and not a licensed tourism services provider. Recommendations are subjective opinions from the host and from past guests, intended to make your stay nicer — not professional advice of any kind.
2. Accuracy of information
Athens is a city, and cities change. Restaurants open and close, opening hours shift, museum tickets change price, bus routes get renumbered. We try to keep the guide current, but:
- We make no warranty that any specific piece of information (opening hours, prices, routes, names) is correct at the moment you read it.
- Always double-check anything time-critical (museum tickets, ferry schedules, restaurant reservations) on the relevant official source before relying on it.
3. Guest-submitted content
Tips on this Site are personal opinions of past guests, verified only against the existence of a Booking.com reservation. We do not independently verify the accuracy of any tip. Your experience may differ.
4. External links and third-party services
The Site links to restaurants, museums, public-transport pages, maps, Booking.com, and Viator. We have no control over those external sites and services and accept no responsibility for:
- The accuracy or availability of their content.
- Their privacy or cookie practices (see their own policies).
- Any contract you may enter into with them, including bookings made through Booking.com or Viator.
4a. Affiliate disclosure (Viator)
The Excursions page contains affiliate links to tours operated through Viator, a brand of Tripadvisor LLC. If you click one of these links and complete a booking on Viator’s site, Viator pays the operator of this Site a small commission. This costs you nothing extra — the price you see on Viator is the same price you would pay if you went there directly.
We disclose this clearly on the Excursions page itself and again here, in line with EU consumer-protection rules on transparency (Directive 2005/29/EC, transposed in Greece by Law 2251/1994). Tours are listed because we believe guests will enjoy them; commission rates do not influence the selection or ranking. We are not Viator, do not control which tours Viator offers, and accept no responsibility for the conduct of the local operators that ultimately run the tours. The booking, payment, cancellation, refund, safety and liability terms of the tour are entirely between you and Viator (and the underlying tour operator). Please read Viator’s own terms and privacy policy before booking.
5. Safety, travel advisories, and personal responsibility
Athens is, by international standards, a safe city — but every traveller is responsible for their own decisions about where to go, what to eat, which excursions to take, and how to assess weather or sea conditions. Always check the official advisories of your home country’s foreign ministry before travelling, and check Greek civil-protection alerts during your stay.

Nothing on this Site constitutes medical, legal, financial, immigration, or insurance advice. If you need that, please consult a qualified professional.
7. Force majeure and external events
Strikes, extreme weather, public-transport disruptions, museum closures, and similar events outside our control may affect any information published here. We accept no liability for such circumstances.
8. Photos and imagery
Photos of the apartment reflect its condition at the time of photography. Minor variations (linens, plants, small furnishings) are normal and do not constitute a deviation from the booking.
9. Trademarks
Booking.com, Google, Instagram, WhatsApp and other names referenced on this Site are trademarks of their respective owners. Use of these names is purely descriptive and does not imply any endorsement or affiliation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Greek and EU law, the Site operator accepts no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your reliance on information shown on this Site. This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. for fraud or gross negligence) and does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
